Welcome to KNIGHT SCIENTIFIC LIMITED world exclusive manufacturer of ABEL® Oxidative Stress Kits with Pholasin® for measuring antioxidant capacity and production of free radicals.
You can either buy kits direct from KSL to do your own testing or contract KSL to test for you. The choice is yours. KSL provides a confidential testing service for determining the antioxidant potency of raw materials, ingredients and finished products. Highly reproducible relative antioxidant capacity scores (ABEL-RAC™) can be used on product labels, in formulation development, for quality control and quality assurance and for measuring the antioxidant status of individuals as an indicator of health and well being.
There are two groups of ABEL kits: Cell Activation Test Kits and Type Specific Antioxidant Test Kits.
All the kits contain the light-emitting protein Pholasin®, an ultra-sensitive chemiluminescent detector of free radicals and other reactive oxygen containing species (ROS).
ABEL® Analysis By Emitted Light technology with the chemiluminescent probe PHOLASIN® have applications for: nutraceuticals, well-being, nutrition, food, materials, cosmetics, sport, pharmaceutical, inflammation and oxidative stress research as well as disease monitoring.
