KSL brings many years of experience in research and product development to understand the needs of others for specialist antioxidant and free radical tests
We have invented a battery of tests to quantify the Relative Antioxidant Capacity (RAC) of raw materials used in nutraceuticals and cosmetics and the finished products.
Each test is designed to mimic what might happen to the material or product when exposed to a variety of free radicals such as: superoxide, hydroxyl radicals, peroxyl radicals and other non-radical reactive oxygen species such as peroxynitrite, hypoclorous acid.
The tests can be used on water and oil soluble materials as well as emulsions. And the precise ABEL-RAC™ scores per mg of material can be used directly in formulations.
You can quantify the antioxidant activity in terms of weight, cost or dose of a component. And you can measure shelf life precisely, produce ABEL-RAC™ scores for your product labels, prevent deterioration during manufacture and confirm batch to batch uniformity.
The antioxidant capacity of people and other species such as dogs, horses, pigs, fish and birds can also be measured.
