You can buy kits from KSL and do your own testing or contract KSL to test for you; the choice is yours.
All our kits are based on Analysis By Emitted Light (ABEL®) technology and contain the light-emitting protein Pholasin®, an ultra-sensitive chemiluminescent detector of free radicals and other reactive oxygen containing species (ROS).
There are two groups of ABEL® kits:
Cell Activation Test Kits - for measuring the production of free radicals and other non-radical oxidants produced by living cells.
Type Specific Antioxidant Test Kits - for measuring the antioxidant capacity of a variety of samples.

As well as supplying kits KSL also provides a confidential testing service for determining the antioxidant potency of raw materials, ingredients and finished products. Highly reproducible relative antioxidant capacity scores (ABEL-RAC) can be used on product labels, in formulation developments, for quality control and quality assurance and for measuring the antioxidant status of individuals as an indicator of health and well being.
